    Terms of Service

    1. The Service

    BridgeTransfer provides private chauffeur transportation services in Budapest and across Hungary, including airport transfers, city transfers, day trips, and multi-day tour packages. These terms govern all bookings made through our website, live chat, WhatsApp, or any other communication channel.

    2. Bookings & Confirmation

    A booking is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from us (via chat, WhatsApp, or email) including the agreed price, pickup details, and driver contact information. Verbal agreements or unanswered messages do not constitute a confirmed booking.

    We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.

    3. Pricing & Payment

    All prices are quoted in Euros (EUR) and are fixed at the time of confirmation. We do not apply surge pricing or hidden fees. Waiting time beyond the agreed pickup window may incur additional charges, which will be communicated before the trip.

    Payment is accepted in cash (EUR or HUF) or by card. For day trips and packages, a deposit may be required to secure the booking.

    4. Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations must be made in writing (chat, WhatsApp, or email).

    • More than 24 hours before pickup: full refund
    • 12-24 hours before pickup: 50% refund
    • Less than 12 hours before pickup: no refund
    • No-show: no refund

    In the event that we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle breakdown, illness, force majeure), you will receive a full refund or an alternative vehicle at no extra cost.

    5. Passenger Responsibilities

    Passengers agree to:

    • Be ready at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time
    • Treat the driver and vehicle with respect
    • Not smoke in the vehicle
    • Wear seatbelts at all times
    • Ensure the number of passengers does not exceed the vehicle's capacity

    We reserve the right to terminate a trip without refund if a passenger's behaviour poses a safety risk or causes damage to the vehicle.

    6. Luggage & Liability

    We take reasonable care with passenger luggage but accept no liability for loss or damage unless caused by our negligence. Passengers are responsible for ensuring their luggage fits within the booked vehicle's capacity.

    Our liability for delays caused by traffic, weather, or road conditions beyond our control is limited to a refund of the booking value. We are not liable for missed flights, connections, or other consequential losses.

    7. Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hungarian courts. Consumer rights under EU law are unaffected.
