BridgeTransfer is a private chauffeur service operating in Budapest, Hungary. We are the data controller for the personal data collected through this website and our communications channels. For privacy-related enquiries contact us at: booking@bridgetransfer.hu

We collect only the data necessary to provide and manage your transportation service:

• Name and contact details (phone number, email address)
• Trip details: pickup location, destination, date and time, passenger count
• Payment information (handled directly - we do not store card data)
• Communications: messages sent via live chat (Crisp) or WhatsApp

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Confirm and manage your booking
• Contact you regarding your trip (driver details, schedule changes)
• Issue invoices or receipts where requested
• Respond to enquiries before and after your journey

Legal basis: Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For pre-booking enquiries, we rely on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We use the following third-party tools that may process your data:

• Crisp Chat - live chat provider. Data is processed on Crisp's servers. See Crisp's privacy policy.
• WhatsApp (Meta) - used for booking communications. Subject to Meta's privacy terms.
• Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights - privacy-friendly website analytics and performance monitoring provided by Vercel, our hosting platform. No cookies are used, no personal data is collected, and the service is fully GDPR-compliant. No consent is required. See Vercel's privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.

This website uses cookies solely to operate the live chat functionality (Crisp). No advertising or tracking cookies are used. You can decline cookie use via the consent banner - the live chat will be unavailable if you do, but all other site functionality remains unaffected. Website analytics are provided by Vercel Analytics, which is cookieless and does not require consent.

Booking and communication data is retained for up to 5 years to comply with Hungarian accounting and tax regulations. Data relating to enquiries that did not result in a booking is deleted within 12 months.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Lodge a complaint with the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH) at naih.hu

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
